Week 4 Blog post
Blog #4 GIMP is a program that takes images and is able to edit them and add/delete effects. I have never used this program or any other in my life so this is new to me. I watched the over 5 hrs of tutorials and some over and over again. I found that it to be a very difficult program for me, as I have not much experience with programs like this. Over time and a lot of practice I would possibly feel more comfortable using this program. It's awesome that its a free download and anybody can use it which makes it more desirable for a lot of people. Gimp vs Photoshop: Gimp is free, Photoshop is very expensive. Gimp is fast and stable vs Photoshop being sluggish and slow due to being a huge program and resource friendly. Gimp is more user friendly according to google, that scares me lol as I found it challenging to understand all the things possible. Gimp can open, edit and save Photoshop's files.
